HISTORY
Established in 1994 at the request of His Eminence Cardinal Jaime Sin, the St. Joseph Center in Manila, Philippines, is the stronghold of the Apostolate for Family Consecration in Asia. Staffed by lay people and a women's community of the Apostolate's Catholic Corps. Manila continues to be the passageway for the Catholic Church in Asia. Cardinal Gaudencio Rosales is now the Archbishop of Manila, and he has been a member of the Family Apostolate's Advisory Council since January 9, 1998. He is one of its primary spiritual and theological advisors, in addition to being a member of its video faculty.
The mission in Asia is made possible through the grace of God and commitments of the Family Apostolate's Catholic Corps Women and our Lay Evangelization Team (LET) leaders in the field who fully dedicate themselves in bringing the Apostolate's work and mission to fulfillment, responding unreservedly to meet the Church's demand for the new evangelization. The "Apostolate for Family Consecration Family" zealously work in building the civilization of Love and Life where the Social reign of the Holy Family is lived by every consecrated family & realized in the faithful fulfillment of their responsibilities - All for the Holy Family.

Asia Philippine Mission is the first branch established outside its main U.S.A.center that actively responds to the Church's call to feed the spiritually poor and hungry in Asia and Philippines. The Philippine mission is the gateway to Asia. It plays the key role of solidifying the faith within the family and strengthening it with Total Consecration faith formation.
We thank our founders Jerry and "Servant of God" Gwen Coniker for their continued inspiration, zeal to save souls and their selfless sacrifice all to sanctify families through the work and mission of the Apostolate for Family Consecration. To all the members and leaders in the field, we unite with you all efforts to renew the church through family consecration.

Since a consumer culture exists that wants to prevent us from living in accordance with Creator's plan, we must have the courage to create islands, oases, and then great stretches of land of Catholic culture where the Creator's design is lived out." - Pope Benendict XVI, April 6,2006
